Chub

Going to get the Chub working soon! I think the QR Chub was some kind of hack; the Chub people had no idea what I was talking about when I told them I had one of their hubs with a quick release skewer.

Now you need a front one.... though I guess it wouldn't match.

Fucking mathematicians. They come up with formal systems and then complain when they don't make sense.

Also, that the notion of area wasn't formalized until 1901 (and wasn't proved consistent until 1979) really pisses me off.

I. Everything is at its Acme-

especially the art of making one's way in the world. There is more required nowadays to make a single wise man than formerly to make Seven Sages, and more is needed nowadays to deal with a single person than was required with a whole people in former times.

Fake Steve on one laptop. It's mean, but it's funny. There was also an NPR commentator bashing it a while ago, but all I can find is this.

Also, I like this guy.

That's because the video is a saveable but not linkable streaming wmv. And it's mostly how to assemble/use it.

I'm surprised how flat the torque curve is. Gotta love that sweet spot at 5200rpm.
Permalink 07/17/07 @ 09:18
Comment from: graham [Member] · http://nonplatonic.com/graham.php
Even though it looks relatively flat, you can really feel that little rise in torque after 4000. Anything over 5000 sounds and feels pretty good.

If you're asking how fast the car is, the answer would be "fairly quickly."
